Welcome! I'm a writer from Texas. I was locked by Imani Nash-Bey of Pomona, Ca 11-28-03. I had my Sisterlocks for about 8 years and cut them off in 2011. Currently in the process of growing my hair back and getting re-locked SOON! I'm an avid blogger and decided to share my locked growth process with easier access to the masses. If you enjoy reading 1st person narratives and looking at photos and some videos, then you'll enjoy my blog. *Please do not copy my pictures without my permission.*

Gone overboard with the Picasa2 Collage
OK, I will admit, I was just experimenting, but I love this collage with me, Jen and our Daddy in it. He dropped by before we headed to church this morning and I did my usual, grabbing of the camera to take some candids. You can tell our family has strong genes, for we both look a lot like our Dad. Now, do we look more like- Dad or Mom? You tell me. We took more pictures after church cause it was such a pretty sunny day. I like the colors Jen has on today. She's so chic!

Beautiful! When I was younger I was told NOT to wear red because I was to dark, now that I'm older I absolutely LOVE they way our skin's undertones are brought out by red!!
Lovely Fam!!!
Ladies, you indeed have inherited some of your dad's features. Beautiful collage and, yes Maryee my dear - you do love the collage tool! Thanks for hipping us all to it. You two look so lovely. Mary I'm luvin' the red. I used to wear it a lot because it's one of my favorite colors. Jen, I'm really diggin' your look and your locks. You're very photogenic.
Congrats on finishing the retightening Maryee. Great job. I hope you both have a blessed holiday season.

Great looking family. You all are so sharp and it's good to see that some people still dress up to worship in God's Sanctuary!
You are working that collage! Y'all look good! Ah family.

Vee, Girl, wear that Red!! Looking forward to seeing some pictures soon. We usually can wear any color.
Blaqkofi, Thanks for the kind compliments. I think we need to put Jen in some red. The collages make posting the "full effect" of the hair better.
Narissa, Yes, girl! I remember you!! I already posted an "advise" question on your psychology blog and loved your Katrina posts. Keep writing. Also, you need to let me know if the world can hear your poem. Holla back. :-)
LaChanda, Thanks sweetie! We try and "represent" whenever we head off to church. Now, if we can get Dad to go, that would be GRRRREAT!!! But we love him, nonetheless. :-)
Leighann, Thanks! These collages are fun. I'll try not to go overboard next time with 8 thousand pics... :-)
