Welcome! I'm a writer from Texas. I was locked by Imani Nash-Bey of Pomona, Ca 11-28-03. I had my Sisterlocks for about 8 years and cut them off in 2011. Currently in the process of growing my hair back and getting re-locked SOON! I'm an avid blogger and decided to share my locked growth process with easier access to the masses. Introducing Dalton Sherman-For All Educators
OK, I'm inspired beyond belief!! You will be, too!
That kid is awesome! He'll definitely be one to watch over time and his message is timeless.
Know that even though you may often think they don't, your kids appreciate you more than they will ever say. They may try to be cool for their friends but deep down inside, they know that you are giving to them from your heart not your paycheck. Keep on keeping on. This is a great message to start the school year!
He was even better in person. that was at our back to school rally. He is in fifth grade! Didnt think he was the keynote speaker though. He also one the Martin Luther King I have a dream speech/essay.
I've been a silent follower of your blog for quite a while now. I love your sisterlocks, and I consider you as one of the lock pioneers I and others can aspire to be like. My favourite videoclip was when you, brunsli, and other locked sisters gather in one setting and talk about why you love being locked.
He IS one to watch! Thankfully, my students give me feedback about the difference I make with them.

This was amazing an inspiration and a blessing. Makes me want to make a difference in the world. Thanks so much for sharing. Children always have a special place in their hearts for the teahers that make a difference in their lives. Even though it is tough sometimes know that you are loved and appreciated!!!
My kids show me with their good behavior and hard work how much they appreciate me. It is the driving force that let's me know I am making a difference. My desire is that they do the same. Thanks for droppin' by!!
